Kaş is a stunning little village at the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It attracts local and foreign tourists by its natural beauty, relaxing atmosphere and mild climate.

Crystal clear waters, excellent beaches and majestic mountains offer countless options for non diving activities like trekking, climbing, canyoning, paragliding, etc.

There are many places of historical interest in and around Kaş, like Hellenic theater and ruins of antique cities of Lycian civilization Komba, Nisa, Kandyba, Phellos, Istlada, Apollonia, Isinda and Kyaenai. A popular excursion from Kaş is a day trip to Kekova Island in the neighboring district of Demre. Here, in the magnificent bays, lay the remains of an ancient city that sunk under the sea after several earthquakes over the centuries. Although diving is not allowed, the area is ideal for snorkeling and sea kayaking.

In December 2006 Kaş was added to the specially protected Kekova marine area in order to preserve its historical heritage and rich biodiversity. Well preserved underwater life, caves and wrecks are here to be explored.
